A Gift From the Heart

My youngest daughter, Mallorie, who is almost 21, was telling the family that she bought each of us something from the Dollar Store.  She was so excited about this gift and that each one only cost $1.

Papa was the first one to open up his $1 gift. He was so thrilled when he opened the box. He was the only one who could see what was inside and he said "Mallorie, you made this". My husband and I where both thinking "no she got it at the Dollar Store".  Then Papa brought out a  beautiful hand woven basket out of the box.  Mallorie had made each of us a basket!
This is what Papa found in his box.

This one is Jim's.

This one is for Grandma and Grandpa.

This basket is Ariel's.

And this one is mine.
They are all different.

No wonder Mallorie was so excited about them. Even though the final cost was only $1 each she had put a lot of time and thought into each one. What a great gift with so much meaning.

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
